False Doctrine

We are to warn the people of false doctrine, and if you do not want to believe what we say, you do not have to.

Ezekiel 3:17-21 | English Standard Version (ESV)

17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me. 18 If I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked person shall die for[a] his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. 19 But if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, or from his wicked way, he shall die for his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul. 20 Again, if a righteous person turns from his righteousness and commits injustice, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die. Because you have not warned him, he shall die for his sin, and his righteous deeds that he has done shall not be remembered, but his blood I will require at your hand. 21 But if you warn the righteous person not to sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he took warning, and you will have delivered your soul.”

5 Angels * 5 Continents

by Samuel Doctorian August 16,1998: Original Source

I came to the Island of Patmos on May 5, 1998. For several weeks, alone in

a house, I was struggling to live by myself, and try to cook and do other things around the house. I tried to eat as little as possible. I spent my time in prayer and fasting, I found a little chapel next door, where nobody goes, called St. Nicola Chapel. I went there pouring my heart to God. On a hill next to the house, I found a marvelous rock. I went often and sat on that rock, prayed, meditated, and read the Bible. Several times, I went to the cave of John, where he saw the great revelation.

While meditating for one month in this solitary place, I thought, I wonder if the Lord will ever send a tenth Angel? I had seen angels nine times before – In England; in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. I had seen an angel in Amman, Jordon, in Jerusalem. Another angel with his message had delivered a woman from being hanged in Upper Egypt. I saw the last angel, the ninth in Beirut, in the midst of the war. The angel awakened me physically 3:00 o’clock in the morning. He told me to get out of the country immediately. I am grateful to the Lord until today. I don’t know what would have happened to me if the angel had not come. Heaven will tell that one day. So here in Patmos I thought, I wonder if I would see an angel for the tenth time. There were times when I was alone in the house praying, I felt such presence, I wondered and asked the Lord if an angel was coming now. But it was not to be. One night I dreamt about an angel. It was tremendous. An angel told me to just fly in my dream. I felt is it possible? But an angel was telling me. I was on a high cliff and I really let go and was flying in the most beautiful way. I came down and landed just like having a parachute, peacefully. That was not real. I wanted to see an angel, like the nine times before.

20th June, 1998. 3:50 a.m., here in Patmos, suddenly my room was full of light.

There are not lights around here. The house sits by itself at the end of a road, near a monastery. Of course, I wondered what this bright light was. And lo and behold, as I was wide awake, this was not a dream, I saw five beautiful angels, I saw their faces, perfect. Looking like human beings, but full of light. I saw their eyes, their face. Their hair was so beautiful. On my right side, there were two lovely angels. When I looked at the others, trembling, suddenly I saw the other three had wings. I had been asked many times, if the angels I had seen before had wings. I had decided the next time I would see an angel, I was going to ask the angel, if he had wings. Everybody was asking me. Other times when I had seem angels, I was so scared and trembling, I did not have the nerve to ask them if they had wings. Now I saw the three angels on my left side with wings, and the two on my right side without wings. They all had hands. They had beautiful white robes all the way down to the floor. Very hard to describe with human words. I wondered why five angels had come. I was trembling, shaking, I wanted to cry, I couldn’t. The place was full of light. Suddenly the angel on my right side, the first one said, “We are five angels, from the five Continents”.

Just before I could see the tremendous revelations of angels, in Spirit, I was in a great meeting where a great multitude of people were present. They were God’s children, from many nationalities. I was on a platform, standing behind the pulpit. I was preaching in English, I had an interpreter on my left side. He had dark hair, gray suit. But I couldn’t remember to what language he was interpreting my message. I was prophesying. This was the prophecy:
My Church, you preach love, teach love, but you need to practice love, and show love.
There is need of unity in my body, there are many divisions among you.
My Spirit will not move and work where there is no unity.
There is carnality in my church.
Too much uncleanness in my church.I desire and want holy people.I died to make you holy.”
While prophesying, I’m trembling, I’m lost in the Spirit. My eyes are opened. I’m looking to the great multitude.Suddenly I saw these five powerful, mighty, shining angels, totally in white, come towards me. I began to go backwards from the pulpit about three, four meters. I was going to fall down. I didn’t know what to do. I was wide awake, but in the spirit. Some power helped me not to fall.As I was wondering what all this was, the angel on the right side said, “We are here to give you messages of the five continents of the world.” The moment I heard that I could hear the multitude, the crowd, thousands of them saying, “Oh, Oh, Oh….” I believe the multitude saw angels also. And somehow the Lord revealed to me that the time is coming in many parts of the world where God is going to reveal Himself through the ministry of angels. It’s going to happen publically, in churches. Thousands will see angels at one time. The Lord is witnessing that. Angels will be ministering to the Body, in these last days.Suddenly the message started to come,” What you see and hear, tell to the Nations.”This was not something I should keep to myself. Even they accept it or not, I have to tell it to the nations.

The FIRST ANGEL

The first angel, the farthest from me and to the right, said, “I have a message for all Asia.

The moment he said that, in a split few seconds, I could see the whole of China, India; the whole of the Asian countries, like Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, North Korea, South Korea. I’ve never been to those countries. I could see the Philippines and Japan. Down to Singapore, I saw Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Then the angel showed me all of Papua New Guinea, and the whole of Iryan Jaya, Indonesia, and down to Australia and New Zealand.

This was the message of the angel, to all that part of Asia, including Australia and New Zealand.
I am the angel of China,” he said, India, Australia.
In his hand I saw a tremendous trumpet, not a small one, but a long big one. He was going to blow it all over AsiaSo whatever the angel said, it’s going to happen with the trumpet of the Lord, all over Asia.
Millions are going to hear the mighty voice of the Lord. Then the angel said, “There shall be disasters, starvation, many will die from hunger. Strong winds will be loosened like never happened. A great part will be shaken and destroyed. Earthquakes all over will take place. The sea will cover the earth. The earth will fall in the sea. Great part of Australia will be shaken. Australia will be divided, destroyed. Great part will go under the ocean. Millions will die in China and in India. Nations will be against Nations, brother against brother. Asians will fight each other. Nuclear Weapons shall be used killing millions.” I heard the word ‘catastrophic’ used twice. “Financial crisis will come all over Asia. It will shake the world.” I was trembling while the angel was speaking.
Then he looked at me and smiled and said. “There shall be the greatest spiritual awakening. Bondages will be broken. Barriers will be removed. Millions in China, India, all over Asia will turn to Christ. In Australia there shall be tremendous revival.
Then I heard the angel of Asia say. “It is the last harvest.” I could hear the Spirit say. “I shall prepare my church for the return of Christ.
I was happy with the last few sentences of good news, after such a judgment.

The SECOND ANGEL said

The second angel had a sickle in his hand, I heard him say, Harvest time has come in Israel, and all the countries all the way to Iran, all of Turkey and the Arab Countries. Multitudes that have refused me, refused my message of love shall hate each other, shall kill one another, shall be destroyed. “I saw the angel raise the sickle and come down on all of the Middle East Countries.  In few seconds I saw the whole of Iran, Armenia, Azerbijan, Turkey, Georgia, Iraq, Syria, Jordon, Lebanon, Israel, and all of the Asia Minor full of blood.  I saw blood all over these countries. I saw fire, Nuclear weapons used in many of those countries. Smoke rising everywhere. Sudden destruction and men will destroy one another. I heard. “Israel, oh Israel, the great judgment has come.”
The angel said. “The chosen, the church, the remnant shall be purified. The Spirit of God shall prepare the children of God.” I saw fires and smoke rising to heaven. The angel said. “This is the final judgment. My Church will be purified, protected and ready for the final day.
Man will die from thirst. Water shall be scarce all over the Middle East Rivers shall dry. Man will fight for water in the Middle East countries.I saw the United Nations shall be broken to pieces because of the crisis in the Middle East. There shall be no more United Nations.
The angel with the sickle shall reap the harvest.

The THIRD ANGEL said

In the presence of almighty God and what the angels were talking to me I was shivering, trembling, I wanted to cry, but was not able to. I was so much lost to see what was happening. I really was fascinated. I couldn’t have the courage to ask the third angel, who had wings, to open his wings.

Suddenly this third angel opened his wings, I saw him fly over my room and in the spirit showed me the whole of Europe. I saw Europe from one end to the other. All the way from North down to Spain and Portugal. He had a scale in his hand – a scale of measurement.

Whatever the meaning, the Lord will give it to us. I heard clearly the angel say,
I am grieved. I am grieved. I see unrighteousness, uncleanness, ungodliness all over Europe. Sin has risen to heaven. The Holy Spirit is grieved.” I saw rivers of Europe flooding, covering millions of houses. Millions drowned. Suddenly I heard Earthquakes all over Europe. Countries that had no earthquakes before shall be shaken. Suddenly I saw the Eiffel Tower in Paris crumbling, falling down. Great part of Germany destroyed. Great city of London, destruction everywhere. I saw floods all over Scandinavia. I looked to the south of Europe. I saw Spain and Portugal passing through great hunger and great disasters. Many will die from hunger.
I cried and said, “Lord what about your children?” The angel said,
I shall prepare them. They will be looking for the appearing of the Lord. Many will cry to me those days and I will save them. I shall perform mighty miracles for them and show them my power.

The FOURTH ANGEL said

Then I saw he fourth angel fly all over Africa from Cairo to Cape Town.

The angel of Africa had a sword in his hand. I heard him say,
Innocent blood has been shed. Divisions amongst the people. Generation far from the Lord. Thousands of people have killed each other. I’ve seen my faithful children in Africa. I shall reward all the faithful. I shall bless them abundantly. I shall control the weather such scorching, burning sun. other parts flooding. Foundations shall be shaken, rivers shall dry, millions will die from starvation. My sword shall judge the unrighteous and the bloodthirsty. So many earthquakes shall happen. Rivers will flow in different directions. Flooding many villages.” God’s judgment shall do it. I saw great pieces from the stars falling from the sky upon Africa. The trembling of the earth shall be tremendous. Never happened since the creation. None shall escape the sword of the Lord.
I saw the Nile River drying, fishes dead, stinking all over Egypt.
Great part of the middle of Africa shall be covered with water, millions drowned.
“Lord,” I said, “It is all bad news, all destruction. Any good news?” The Lord said, The final day has come. Judgment days are here. My love has been refused, now my anger has come.
I trembled, I was shaking, I thought I can’t bear it any more.

FIFTH ANGEL said

Then I saw the last angel flew over America, north and south, from the North Pole to the South Pole. From Canada all the way to Argentina; from the east of the U.S.ANew York, till the West, California.

I saw in his hand a big bowl, a deep cup full of judgment. The angel said he would pour from this bowl upon the North and South America.

The angel said,
“No Justice any more, no righteousness, no holiness, but idolatry, materialism, drunkenness, bondage of sin, killing innocent blood, families broken, adulterous generation. Sodom and Gomorra is here. The days of Noah are here. False Preachers, False Prophets, refusing of my love, imitation of religion, having the form of Godliness but denying the power.”
I begged the angel, “Can you not wait for a little while. Don’t pour it. Give a chance for repentance. “ The angel said, “Many times God has spared and has spoken, but they have not listened. His patience has come to an end. Now the time has come. They have loved money and pleasure more than me.”
As the angel began to pour from the bowl, I saw the great icy mountains melt in the north. Flooding came all over Canada and North America. All the rivers flooded, destruction everywhere. The world market collapsing with mighty earthquakes in New York. Skyscrapers tumbling, millions dying, ships in the ocean sinking, explosions I heard from all over the north of the country, millions dying.
The angel was pouring judgment on Mexico and all of Central America. Flooding of the countries, two oceans joining together, the Atlantic and the Pacific. Great part of North Brazil covered in water, the Amazon River turning to a great sea, forests destroyed and flooded, major cities in Brazil destroyed, earthquakes in many places.
As the angel poured judgment all the way to the South, to Chili and Argentina, great destruction took place, like never before.
The whole world was shaking. “In a short time.” I heard the angel say, “this is going to happen.”
Then I saw the five angels surrounding the globe, the world, lifting their wings and their hands towards heaven and saying,
All glory to the Lord of Heaven and the Earth. Now the time has come and He will glorify His son. The earth shall be burnt and destroyed. All things shall pass away. The new earth shall come. God shall destroy the works of the devil forever. New heaven and new earth shall come. I will show my power, how I will protect my children in the midst of all these destructions. Be ready for the day of the Lord has come.
***
My room was full of light from the brightness of the angels. Then suddenly they ascended up to heaven. As I looked up I saw the angels go in five different directions.

I knew they had already started their duties.

For more than an hour I could not move. I was wide awake. I was not sleeping, I was trembling from time to time. Then I said, “Lord, shall I leave Patmos now?”
No,” said the Lord, “I have brought you for a purpose.” “I’m in your hands Lord.”
I said, “Let thy will be done. Lord, the messages from the angels all over the world is not good news. It is judgment, punishment, destruction, and devastation. What would people say about me?” I have always been a preacher of love, peace and good news.”

The angel said,
It is our message. You are the instrument, the channel. What a privilege God has chosen you, to use you to give His message.
Then I answered, “Thy will be done.”

Still I lay there motionless. I was lost in thoughts. I did not know what to do. I was in the presence of such holiness of God. I wanted to cry but I couldn’t. There’s no way to weep. I could not laugh, impossible. I was just committed to the mighty will of God.

For three days I did not leave the house. I was praying, fasting, and seeking the mind of God in order to write everything down in the Spirit After much meditation, I was able to write all that God’s Spirit brought to my remembrance.

Undoubtedly this was a highlight in my life. To God be the Glory. Amen.

61.1% NO BRAINER!

This Easter, who cares that Jesus died?

61.1% do!

Although 22.3 per cent of Australians marked on the 2011 Census that they have 'No Religion' - that's up four per cent from the previous Census - the Census also showed that 61.1 per cent of Australians identify as Christian, a decline of two per cent. {article}

Whats the Big Deal.

Well firstly the bible tells us we are dead in our sins and also called enimies of God; that we before God are lost and without any hope, totally unable to appeasise or pay for our sins and failures. Trapped in a cycle of inherited sin and having a sin nature which can do nothing other than sin, ie miss the mark of doing and being what God had created mankind for.

So the Landscape of mankind "Wretched Lost and with No Hope of Redemption"

Just a thought: Q: what would we do with something like this? I would suggest we would throw it away to be destroyed and start again with a new one.

Well Easter is about:

"What God Did to rescue Mankind from the Dilema of his Wretched Lost and with No Hope of Redemption Condition."

When we understand our condition before God as being absolutely true and undiniable fact then Caring becomes:
A NO BRAINER!

Christ in OT

Christ's Death and Resurrection In the Old Testament

And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced…” — Zechariah 12:10

…Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:” — Luke 24:46

After his resurrection, Jesus met two men on the road to Emmaus, and he expected them to already understand through the Scriptures that Christ was meant to suffer and die. “And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself,” (Luke 24:26–27).

We would all have loved to be there on the road to Emmaus that day, walking with the resurrected Jesus himself as he detailed the different prophecies that concerned his death and resurrection. Still, the apostles and other New Testament writers do a good job of filling us in. The Old Testament is filled with prophecies and types of Jesus’ suffering and death and resurrection as payment for the sins of the world, and the New Testament points those out.

Psalm 16:8–11

Simon Peter starts out on the day of Pentecost explaining that Jesus the Messiah had risen from the dead, “Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it,” (Acts 2:24). Peter then pulled from the Psalms to prove the truth of his testimony.

For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.” — Acts 2:24–32

Psalm 22

The sacrifice and resurrection of the Messiah are throughout the Old Testament. Psalm 22, written by King David a millennium before Christ, gives us the very perspective of the Lord hanging on the cross. It describes how the people mocked Christ (Psalm 22:7–8; Mat 27:41–43), how they cast lots to divide up his clothes (Psalm 22:18; Mat 27:35), how his bones were out of joint (Psalm 22:14), how the wicked had surrounded him and pierced his hands and feet (Psalm 22:16) – the scars of which Thomas later got to touch and feel (John 20:27).

Psalm 22 ends by saying God’s righteousness would be declared to “a people that shall be born” (Psalm 22:31).

The Sign of Jonah

The Bible is also full of types and foreshadowings. Jesus Christ is throughout the Old Testament in a variety of details.

For instance, before his death and resurrection, Jesus offered simply the “sign of Jonah” as a foreshadowing of how long he would be dead.

For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” — Matthew 12:40

Isaiah 53

Isaiah 52:13–53:12 offers one of the most profound prophecies in the entire Old Testament, written over 700 years before Christ’s death and resurrection.

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” — Isaiah 53:3–6

Some have argued that this passage refers to Israel, but in the context that explanation makes little sense. Isaiah clearly says in verse 53:8, “for the transgression of my people was he stricken.” That is, “he” stands in contrast to Israel, Isaiah’s people.

In the next verse 9, Isaiah says: “And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

It cannot be said of Israel that there was no deceit in her mouth.

On the other hand, Jesus was crucified between two thieves (Mark 15:27), and yet was buried in the grave of Joseph of Arimathaea, a wealthy man with enough standing to go ask Pilate for Jesus’ body (Mark15:43–46).

In Isaiah 53:10, we get a hint at a resurrection, because after his soul is made “an offering for sin” he will then “prolong his days.

In the end, Isaiah says in verse 12 that God would reward this righteous servant (numbered with the transgressors, but not one himself), “he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Our Redeemer Lives
In the oldest book of the Bible, written even before Moses wrote the Pentateuch, Job prophesied from the ash heap where he suffered. He declared in verses 19:25–26:

For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God.

Passover

These prophecies are just the beginning, of course. Exodus 12:1–28 describes the feast of Passover. It was set up as a type of Christ, one that gave the Hebrews an understanding of the use of a perfect lamb as a sacrifice, the blood of which would protect those under it from the wrath of God, the angel of death. The Jews were to prepare for the feast by removing all leaven from their homes, symbolic of removing sin from their lives.

Paul the scholar writes in 1 Corinthians 5:7, “Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us.

The Pure Spotless Lamb

Peter describes how we are saved by “the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” Just as John the Baptist understood, Jesus was the fulfillment of the Levitical system of blood sacrifice (e.g. Lev 8–9). Jesus was the true spotless lamb whose blood could take away sins. The sacrifice of bulls and goats could never take away sin, as the writer of Hebrews noted in verses 10:4–5, quoting Psalm 40:6:

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me.

The sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the sins of humanity was not an afterthought of God. It was always the plan from the beginning. Revelation 13:8 calls Jesus, “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Throughout the Law and the Prophets, God revealed His eternal plan of redemption to mankind. In advance, He described the sacrifice and resurrection of the Messiah. It was a plan He had purposed before He had even formed humanity. He then accomplished it, and through Jesus Christ we have the victory now and forever.

Praise the King!

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.” — Isaiah 25:8

The Only Way

The Lord Jesus Christ: The Only Way of Salvation
By Jack Van Impe
Salvation is not found in man-made ceremonies. Neither is it obtained through ordinances or religious sacraments. Instead, Salvation is of the Lord (Jonah 2:9). Still, multitudes believe that the pursuance of good works or the following of a prescribed code of ethics automatically earns them the guarantee of eternal life. Others talk about the benefits of the Golden Rule, the Sermon on the Mount, or the observance of the Decalogue-God's Ten Commandments-as the way to prepare one's soul for heaven. Although such ideals should be part of a believer's life, they are a result of salvation, not a means of achieving it.

Ephesians 2:10 states, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works.... In other words, good works accompany salvation because Christ, who lives within the believer, is doing the work in him. Thus, we see that it is because one is saved that he works. He does not work in order to become saved. Too often, however, mankind puts the cart before the horse and attempts to reverse the gears of God's program. The result is humans trying to do that which only Almighty God can do. The end is frustration, false doctrine, and eternal damnation. Man plays no part in obtaining salvation. It is all of God. Titus 3:5 declares, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.

God's Word
Let me be as dogmatic as I have ever been and state that our Holy God has provided no other way of salvation except through the merits of the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Notice that last phrase again: There is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Buddha, Mohammed, Confucius, Zoraster, Dr. Moon, Maharajah Ji, and multitudes of others are unable to save because the Holy Word of God explicitly states that there is no other name or god who can save. Christ is the only Saviour.

Someone may immediately and antagonistically cry out within himself, He is quoting some isolated text from Scripture. The Bible is not that narrow in its limitations concerning salvation. Were he using all of the Scriptures, his conclusion would be different. Let me tell you something shocking. I read the entire New Testament through in a four-day period, marking every verse indicating that salvation is in Christ alone, not in creeds, works, ethics, rites, or ceremonies. I found approximately 400 portions of Scripture presenting this clear-cut truth.

Now if God said it once, that would satisfy my searching mind. However, when He declares it nearly 400 times, one had better believe it. In fact, I am presenting the entire list later in this chapter. The heart of every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ will be blessed as he takes time to study each of these passages. For the present, let's examine just a few of the texts that prove that only Christ can bring salvation to needy hearts. We will begin with the statements of the Saviour himself.

Jesus' Word
In order to bombard you with truth, my comments on the verses will be limited. This way I can cover approximately 75 portions of God's Word.

  • Matthew 16:18: ...upon this rock I will build my church....
  • Matthew 26:28: ... this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
  • Mark 8:38: Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
  • In Luke 5:24, Christ states that the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
  • To the thief on the cross, the Saviour said, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise (Luke 23:43). Only God could make such a promise.
  • In John 4:13, 14, the Lord said to the woman at the well, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst: but the water that l shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
  • In John 5:40, Christ said ... ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
  • John 6:37: ...him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
  • John 8:12: ...I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
  • John 8:24: ...if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
  • John 10:9: ... I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved....
  • John 10:28: ...I give unto them eternal life
  • John 11:25: ...I am the resurrection and the life....
  • John 11:26: ...whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die....
  • John 12:32, 33: ...if I be lifted up from the earth, [I] will draw all men unto me. This he said. signifying what death he should die.

After hearing the statements of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, one would do well to obey God the Father who said in Luke 9:35, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

Jesus also said in Matthew 12:30, He that is not with me is against me.... One cannot say, "Oh. I admire Christ, but I believe there are other ways." One is either for Christ or against Him. One either accepts what Christ stated about himself through 35 pronouns and references or rejects it. Neutral one cannot be!

The Holy Spirit's Word
Next, let's consider the blessed Holy Spirit's statements, dictated as He moved upon the various Bible writers (see 2 Peter 1:20, 21). Thus, we will actually be hearing from Him as we investigate the verses He inspired these men to write. I am using only that portion of each verse which supports the truth that salvation is found in Christ alone. Please investigate each one thoroughly, as nothing has been taken out of context.

  • Romans 1:16: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth ........ Notice it is the good news concerning Christ that is the power of God unto salvation to all who believe. It is not to all who are sprinkled as babies or immersed as adults. It is not through confirmation or reformation. It is not based on works or a system of ethics such as the Sermon on the Mount, the Golden Rule, or the Ten Commandments. No, it is the good news about Christ that is the power of God unto salvation to all who-watch that word-believe, believe.

  • First John 5:11,12: And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
  • Jude 21: ...looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
  • Revelation 5:9,10 pictures the eternal future when believers shall be with Christ in heaven. It also records the words of the song the redeemed shall sing in that day. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and halt redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. If one never sings about the blood of Christ in his high-class services, he will never find himself in heaven with the throngs singing redemption's story.
  • Revelation 7:14 pictures the Tribulation Hour. Here we find that the same plan of salvation exists after the Church is removed from this earth. These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Christ is the Lamb of God (see John 1:29).
  • Revelation 14:13 states that the only ones called blessed or happy are the dead which die in the Lord. If one doesn't die in the Lord, he will be lost. Dear reader, I sum it all up by saying that you will never see God unless you come by the way of Christ's shed blood upon the cross.
  • Revelation 21:27: And there shall in no wise enter into it [heaven] any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: But [hear it, don't miss it] they which are written in the Lamb's book of life [Christ's book of life].

These references but skim the surface. Four hundred passages reiterate this same glorious truth. The following compilation of references from Matthew through Revelation is printed chronologically. This allows one to follow the entire program of verses by simply turning the pages of the New Testament. In fact, I suggest that you highlight or underline each portion in your own Bible as a permanent record. The list is by no means exhaustive. Try to find others in your own study of the Word.

At this point, one final question remains,
"What will you do with Jesus?" You are a sinner.
Christ shed His blood for your sin, and now you must receive Him. Remember the words to that old hymn, "What will you do with Jesus? Neutral you cannot be. Someday your heart will be asking, What will He do with me?" If you reject Him, I can give you the answer today. John 5:40: ...ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. Again, John 14:6: No man cometh unto the Father but by me. Revelation 20:15: And whosoever was not found written in the [Lamb's] book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
